The Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement across the community. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the game's release, to players developing strong views on the entire roster of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

Given numerous of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more akin to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Stay on the good side of either and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, whether in its standard and Mega form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their position to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of treats. Many past Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it uses its horn to collect it all, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Look at this total queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an constant stream of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's very simple to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which sounds very like a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for often becoming absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its ability to create a thundercloud over its very head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is strongly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through pure hatred and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. Being a Archer personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That gives the identical energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
