Performer Denies Anti-Vaccine Stance After Lending His Voice To Contentious Coronavirus Film

Liam Neeson has provided his narration to a recent film that challenges the efficacy of immunizations and lauds ex- government figure the political figure.

The Feature's Disputed Foundation

Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a popular book co-authored by a disgraced researcher, who became famous during the pandemic for assertions that Covid was caused by a problematic version of the influenza shot.

The publication's writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has also written books with far-right figure the Infowars host. The producer wrote online hailing Neeson's participation in the project.

A Firm Denial

Representatives for Neeson have provided a response strongly denying suggestions that he subscribes to anti-vaccine beliefs.

"We all recognize that corruption may occur within the drug industry, but that cannot be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the response explains. "Neeson is not, and remains not, against vaccines. His considerable work with the global charity reinforces his enduring support for global immunisation initiatives."

It added that the performer was not involved in crafting the film's editorial content and that concerns about its content ought to go to the filmmakers.

Central Assertions In the Feature

As presented, the narration provided by Neeson includes several provocative claims:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have called for "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "medical science has become highly politicised."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown claiming, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they are not safely tested."
  • It further attacks pandemic restrictions, claiming they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Background and Current Debates

The documentary also references a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the focus of a correction by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Recently, RFK Jr directed the national health agency to alter its official position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This supposed link is also referenced in the documentary, contrary to a recent study from the World Health Organisation confirming no connection has been found.

An Earlier Record of Support

Differing from the film's narrative, Neeson has previously voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his role as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he called vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," noting that "The conversation about vaccines in recent years has lost sight of how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's voice saying, "This marks not the finish of our journey. It is the beginning of a different phase."
