Football Expert Sutton Battles Artist Murs in Top Flight Predictions
The Gunners' 10-game winning streak came to an end by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, but will the Premier League frontrunners recover against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, against AI, readers and a variety of guests.
In week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
Murs' latest album, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Football and Parenting Experiences
Olly is a skilled footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a benefit game the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my daughter or son decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.
"I won't force football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be coaching their Saturday soccer team," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a football club for a period too.
"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our team for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their offense is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be quite tight, however. Burnley are well organised and their sole home losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, West Ham won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' only on the road victory this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what on earth do I predict here - can West Ham continuing their streak under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back?
I will choose the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: The home team are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a few people under their manager and are in good form with three wins in their past four games.
A family member advised me to get Bees forward Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
The forward will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.
They have not had great success on the road this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team carry much more of a threat.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
The singer's prediction: This could be a match where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.
Fulham have have lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
As for Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
Their display in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing would be to back the visitors here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated the Blues at the close of October.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I really need to continue going against Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and also that the hosts are on a bad streak... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0

It is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten matches in every tournament, but might they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
